• The Other Marty: According to Steve Purcell Christopher Walken was the original voice for Dr. Mayhem in the Animated Adaptation, but, for unknown reasons, his lines were re-recorded by Charlie Adler. ^note  Although watching the special, it is a little hard to imagine Walken doing that character's lines.
  Starchie Spudnoggen (Purcell's blog name): My best story about the animated pilot: Originally the voice of Doctor Mayhem was performed by Christopher Walken. It was lively and hilarious. For god-knows-what-reason the producers at the last minute replaced him with a more cartooney voice.
• Stillborn Franchise: Included the video game, a comic book series, and an animated pilot, none of which caught on.
