• Colbert Bump: The movie did have a following but then the podcast, We Hate Movies, discussed it, causing many more people who have not heard of it to seek it out.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Has received no release on physical media, and the only source of it for streaming is on Amazon Prime (which is currently unavailable in the US).
• Money, Dear Boy: Jeremy Sumpter described it as a "paycheck movie". Lifetime paid him a lot more than they had for any other actor to star in one of their movies, and he jokes that he had to be paid a lot to "jerk off on camera".
• Vacation, Dear Boy: Jeremy Sumpter also joked that he accepted the role because where it was filming allowed him to play golf when he wasn't working.
