- Bad Export for You: Although completely inverted as the original game and its updated re-releases receiving newer features and enhancements during localization, however, a feature that remains exclusive only to the Japanese PlayStation 4 version of Deluxe Edition is PlayStation VR support for gameplay its Communication Mode whereas the overseas versions removed VR support entirely. Similarly, the Steam version is also missing VR support, the co-op features from the console and handheld releases as well as its previous version, and introduced a bug in the Dungeon Mode that caused some Fake Difficulty unless played offline that remains to be addressed.
- Recursive Adaptation: The original game was first released in 2010 on PC, which got an updated re-release in 2013 on the same platform, then got another enhanced version for PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2016, which then got ported to the Nintendo Switch in 2019 and then was back to PC through Steam and PLAYISM later the same year.
