• What Could Have Been: J. J. Abrams was hired circa 2018 by WarnerMedia to create a John Constantine series where the character was notably to undergo a Race Lift. After years of Development Hell, it was confirmed in 2023 that Warner Bros. Discovery had cancelled the project in the wake of its restructuring of film and television projects based off DC Comics under DC Studios.
