• What Could Have Been:
  • In the script, Abed was originally bequeathed with a "limited edition" Muhammad caricature, which he preemptively rejected to ask out one of the polygraph technicians (although he was legally required to accept Pierce's sperm). Mr. Stone was also originally named Mr. Kobayashi.
  • Mara the lie-detecting lady was supposed to appear alongside Mr. Stone at the bar the Study Group goes to in The Tag, with Stone making a pass at her while he's wasted. This doesn't happen in the final cut, but it is depicted during the 2020 Table Read version.
