• Acclaimed Flop: While moderately successful as a streamed anime (and extremely popular in Missouri!), Blu Ray sales were poor (only 1449 sold), far from what Kirara wanted. The anime never received a second season and the manga ended in early 2023, though Hanzawa would be able to start another manga in Manga Time Kirara with Idol Be Back several months following the conclusion of Comic Girls.

• Side-Story Bonus Art: when the US state of Missouri was the only state where Comic Girls was the most watched show on Crunchyroll, Hanzawa created a Thank you picture, with Kaos-chan bobbling a plate of barbequed ribs in front of the St. Louis arch.
