• Ascended Fanon: Twitter user Agentpman drew a fanart of Lil_Jeffy meeting the Hybrid SEA Monster in the Underground Pool and posted it on the page of Near Human Intelligence's account. Near Human Intelligence took notice of this and made an animated recreation of the fanart for "The Passage".
• Promoted Fanboy: A few fans of the series actually got to collaborate with NHI to have their penguins appear in the series.
• Schedule Slip: Initially during Season 2, there was an episode aired per month, with October 2018 seeing the air of the main episode "The Gathering" and the special "Halloween 2". "The Race", which follows up on the Sequel Hook set at the end of "The Gathering", came out in September 2021, almost three years after the previous two episodes. No other videos were uploaded to Near Human Intelligence's YouTube channel over the course of this period either, aside from a soundtrack video that served as a teaser to "The Race". "The Race" would be followed up by the irregular episode "I try to play Club Penguin after it shut down. Do not attempt this.", and no further episodes have been aired afterwards.
