The web show

  • Approval of God: John McTiernan and Joe Dante enjoyed the reviews of Rollerball and Gremlins respectively.
  • Creator Breakdown: According to Gilles Stella, one the main reasons Season 2 never got off the ground was because Karim became extremely uncomfortable with his newfound celebrity, to the point it caused concerns for his mental health. Karim continued to work on Internet projects such as Joueur du Grenier, the "Nouveau Truc Super Cool" (NTSC) film podcast with Sébastien Rassiat and Nico from the JDG team and his Twitch gaming streams (which are on indefinite hiatus), but he spent several years no longer wanting to appear on camera after the series.
  • The Cast Showoff:
    • Just as he did in Crossed, Gilles showcases his singing talent several times.
    • Karim actually learned nunchaku moves for the fight scene at the beginning of Episode 1.
  • In Memoriam:
    • Episode 8 is dedicated to Aïssa Aumar, Karim's grandfather.
    • Episode 11 is dedicated to Michael Ballhaus, the cinematographer of Goodfellas.
  • Troubled Production:
    • Episode 9 was delayed because the apartment where the first 8 episodes were shot belonged to Karim's grandfather, the team had to leave it when he died, and the show's entire set was therefore moved.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • In the audio commentary, Karim explains that there was going to be an episode on The Birth of a Nation (1915) but that sitting through the film several times (as was needed to properly review it) was just not worth the effort, as he found it too long and dreadful − regardless of its notoriously problematic content.
    • The team had initially planned to shoot the Cerberus sequence in episode 10 in Flagstaff, Arizona, to push the Running Gag further; before realizing that would be a bit much considering their budget.
    • According to Gilles, the team briefly considered making a comic book telling the adventures of Kamel's crew in the other universes after the third episode before they arrive in Karim's in the fourth.
    • Still according to him, the puppet show segments in which he and Jérémy show how the reviewed movies would end if they made sense were supposed to happen Once an Episode and become more elaborate each time, but they were eventually only used twice.
    • He also revealed that the team considered shooting some scenes with a Super 8 camera, but they abandoned this idea because they felt that finding a lab to develop the film would be too expensive and time-consuming to be worth it.
  • Word of God:
    • Gilles explained that Professor Kung-Fu is Karim's team's Arch-Enemy in a nonexistent series supposed to be set before Chroma, which is why the whole team fights him in the first episode.
    • He also stated that his music album Ton Hirsute Compagnon is part of the Chroma multiverse and involves a dimension where an alternate Gilles is the host of a kids' show.
    • He also revealed part of the show's unaired pilot: the most notable difference between it and Episode 1 is that the opening isn't Christmas-themed since the episode was planned to be released earlier, but the success of the crowdfunding campaign convinced the team to refilm the whole episode and rewrite the opening.
