• What Could Have Been:
  • The character of Jackall wasn't planned at the start of the series and went through several changes in the development phase. Originally, he was planned to appear in Part 1 and be a character called "Hunter", then it was changed to a woman who was Commander Shark's former lover and who got left in the past while he was time-traveling.
  • Ad was originally going to be a female warrior called "Aries".
  • Thundera was at first planned to appear much earlier in a more prominent role and with a different, more tyrannical personality.
  • The four Ryuuseishin mecha were also planned to combine into one at some point.
