• Acting for Two: Marty Terry plays both Ruby Burke and her wheelchairbound sister.
• California Doubling: Liberty, North Carolina stands in for Hemmingford, Nebraska.
• Hostility on the Set: Terence Knox and Rosalind Allen who played the love interests in the film hated each other, it took a lot of convincing to get Allen to do the sex scene and she only agreed to do it if they could get it in three shots which they did.
• Playing Against Type: One of the production companies was Stone-Stanley, better known for its' kid and family friendly game shows, including Fun House (1988), Shop 'Til You Drop and Legends of the Hidden Temple. This was the only movie the company ever produced.
