• Colbert Bump: The podcast received a massive boost in popularity thanks to Paul and Eli being regular cast members on Barshens. Occasional references from Ashens have also introduced new listeners.
• Magnum Opus Dissonance: Both Paul and Eli absolutely despise Don't Get Mad, it typically being something they do out of desperation for material (explicitly in one episode, with it being referred to as an "Emergency Protocol") followed by a heartfelt promise of never doing it again. It's also one of the most popular segments with listeners due to the pure improv joy of it and Eli's deliberate misinterpretation of the game into an excuse for angry, scatological ranting.
• Milestone Celebration: There have been a few...
  • The 100th and 101st (or "one hundred and oneth") episodes were recorded in front of a live audience at The Bill Murray pub in London in October 2018, with special guests Mr. Biffo, Ash Frith and Stuart Ashen.
  • Episode 150 was presented in a semi-documentary format, covering the recording of an episode with Ash and Biffo as guests, ending with an exposé of Paul's supposed fetish for having sex with puppets, and appearance on a television show discussing it (both fictional).
  • Episode 181 marked the podcast's fifth anniversary with a three-hour documentary about the short-lived Winkie phenomenon.
  • Episode 200, with Biffo, Ashens and Ash, went out live on Twitch before the audio podcast was released.
  • Episode 250 saw Paul and Eli spend an evening with Biffo at the Grand Flange casino.
  • Episode 300 was recorded and filmed at Harrow Arts Centre in front of a live audience in August 2022 with special guests Biffo, Sanja Rose (Biffo's wife), Ashens, Octavius King and Ethan Lawrence.
