• Creator Breakdown: "Chapter 9" (actually the eighth of ten) was an Author's Note about picking the story back up after feeling dissatisfied by the rewrite, in which they admitted their mental health was suffering from how Thomas Astruc was handling the show. Given that Astruc's method for the show continued into later seasons, a breakdown would explain the author deleting the fic and their AO3 account after the Wayback Machine capture.
