• Creator Backlash: Tony Todd has admitted that the third film is his least favorite of the Candyman series (although he did enjoy working with Lupe Ontiveros).
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Owing to its poor reception and having gone straight to video, the film never saw a release on streaming or Blu-ray for many years copies on VHS and DVD the only reliable way to watch it. It wasn't until early 2022 when Vestron Video had picked up streaming and Blu-ray rights to the film that it would be rescued.
