• Doing It for the Art: So far, none of his albums have been made with catering to the masses or making huge sales in mind. He seems to only compose whatever he likes and even created Death Cube K as a side project, just so he could publish several albums without Sony's Executive Meddling.
• Fan Community Nickname: Fans of his usually refer to themselves as Bucketbots.
• Missing Episode: Two albums, Buckethead Plays Disney and Super Diorama Theater, were never released.
• Promoted Fanboy: Bucket's a fan of Bootsy Collins and later got to meet him and work with him. Now they often collaborate on albums and the two of them are good friends.
• Reclusive Artist: Although his real name is known Buckethead values his privacy and stage persona very much and over the years has given very few interviews, most of them being given over the phone or by having someone else talk for him - even a puppet! He's also never seen without a mask or some cover on his face, with the only two actual pictures of him being blurry and over 20 years old.
• What Could Have Been: He was once in the running to replace John Frusciante in Red Hot Chili Peppers, but the group instead went with Arik Marshall.
