- Acting for Two: Rie Kugimiya plays both twins White and Black (and, by extension, the King of Despair, but that's mainly due to sharing Black's body).
- Schedule Slip: One that pretty much came out of nowhere, as far as viewers were concerned too, but in-industry observers have pointed to quiet rumblings of a very Troubled Production. Episode 11 was aired a week late, and the production was forced to air a recap in its place (episode 10.5). Episode 12 was supposed to have been aired two weeks later, but the timeslot being occupied by the continuation of Durarara!!'s season 2 put a stopper to that. The finale finally aired on October 4, 2015 with its length being a total of 46 minutes, which is double the normal runtime (including OP and ED).
