• Ascended Fanon: The official "when the party's over" music video was inspired by a drawing given to Billie by a fan showing black liquid streaming from her eyes.
• Creator Breakdown: Many of Billie's more intimate, depressive ballads came from a very personal place of darkness. A few personal examples include "everything i wanted" (which was inspired by a nightmare she had about jumping off the Golden Gate bridge only for nobody to care), and "What Was I Made For?" (partly built on the existential crisis Barbie suffers in the film, partly built on Billie's own crisis since becoming famous).
• Creator's Oddball: Billie is mainly known for her somber, moody songs, which might make it jarring to some to hear her contributions to the movie Turning Red are for an in-universe early 2000s pop boy band and have a more upbeat tone.
• Delayed Release Tie-In: Her theme song for No Time to Die was commercially released in February 2020, two months before the movie's scheduled release, complete with a music video, televised live performances, and a karaoke version. But then the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, and the movie itself wouldn't be released for another year and a half.
• The Red Stapler: It's been reported that Invisalign sales have increased since the release of "bad guy," due to the video opening with Billie taking hers out. A few interviews mention that Invisalign could be considered part of her image.
• Referenced by...: In Both Can Be True, Ash, who has synesthesia, doodles how they see Billie Eilish music.
• What Could Have Been: A Billie Eilish-themed house was announced for the 2020 edition of Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights. When that year's events were cancelled, Eilish's agents declined to allow the attraction to return for 2021.
