• Covers Always Lie: Patton has openly called the poster for this film one of the worst ever. He said it looked like "Patton's special day at on the field" even though there's no actual football in the movie. Apparently, the designer just shrugged and said, "People like football."
• Irony As He Is Cast: Patton Oswalt knew absolutly nothing about football when making this movie, and was at a complete loss to adlib Giants cheers.
