- Ashcan Copy: Believe it or not, Marv wanted to make the short live action, but since he only had two weeks to complete it he quickly animated what we have now so he could have something to turn in for his thesis.
- Copiously Credited Creator: Played for Laughs as part of the Credits Gag, where Marv Newland is credited for writing, screenplay, choreography, Bambi's wardrobe, and producing. For good measure, Mr. & Mrs. Newland get credit for "producing" Marv Newland. The credits take up over half of the (extremely short) running time.
- No Budget: If the short runtime and amateur animation didn't tip you off.
- She Also Did: The apartment that Marv rented out at the time belonged to Adriana Caselotti, better known as the voice of Snow White from the Disney movie. As a thank you, Marv made sure to credit her in the short.
- What Could Have Been: As mentioned above, the short was meant to be live action, but when Marv realized he wouldn't be able to complete it on time he decided to animate it instead.
