• Abandonware: The game was out of print for several years after its publisher, Inscape, ceased operations in 1997. Since then, both The Residents and Inscape's former founder Michael Nash have given permission for fans to re-distribute it for free online.
• What Could Have Been: A TV adaptation of the game was almost in the works to be produced by Ron Howard and directed by David Lynch, but neither of them could agree on a script and the project was eventually dropped. Nevertheless, The Residents would've only had very minimal creative control had the series gone forward.
