• As Himself: The BTS members act as themselves in a semi-biographic, semi-fictional story.
• The Cast Showoff:
  • Once again, SUGA shows his piano skills in Another Story.
  • The members (particularly Jimin, given the plot of his side-story) show off their dancing skills in some cutscenes.
  • A cutscene shows Jungkook singing, while Another Story shows his skills in taek-won-do and dancing.
• Dawson Casting: The members filmed and took pictures for the game between 2016 and 2018, but play themselves as they were in 2012. They only change their costumes according to the time period and not their hair or make-up^note Understandably so, both for the unnecessary effort in making everyone actually look like they used to be, and for certain styling, hair, and/or make-up decisions being an Old Shame for some of the members, with some story levels even having them in their "Fake Love" outfits in what's supposed to be 2012 and 2013. This leads to the use of actual footage from 2012 and 2013 of the members in a few scenes standing out conspicuously from the rest of the in-game pictures and cutscenes.
• Development Hell: Originally announced at the start of 2018 to be released during the first semester of that year, the game experienced a lot of delays (to the point of reaching memetic status) until it was finally released in the second quarter of 2019.
• Real Song Theme Tune: Several songs in the soundtrack are preexisting BTS songs:
  • The theme music for the Manage Cards menu and the mission levels are the instrumentals of "A Supplementary Story: You Never Walk Alone" and "Go Go", respectively.
  • The opening loading screen was a music box arrangement of "DNA". As of mid 2021 waschanged with a music box arrangement of "Blood, Sweat, Tears"
  • The Event Stages have featured other BTS songs, such as "Miss Right", "Path", a music box arrangement of "I NEED U", "Dope", and "Like".
  • The special temporal events tends to reuse other BTS songs: "Outro: Wings" is frequently used there.
• You Look Familiar: There's a very peculiar actor who, aside from playing Yunki's friend Chaeik in Another Story, also plays Hoseok's professor in j-hope's story and has a cameo in Jin's story.
  • Other actors from the visual novel cutscenes also play more than one minor role.
