- Some of the stories in the series, such as Giroro's first kiss and his emotional state during the Kilili incident, are based on Thorn's personal experiences, the latter specifically on the ending of SFA.
- Every music artist, actor, film, or video game mentioned in the series is a favourite of the actor behind the character making the Shout-Out.
- Un-Canceled: Thorn canceled the show early in its second season after deciding to end TheMidnightFrogs. She reversed the decision to end the team shortly after, but left the podcast canceled as she was tired of it. After Sgt. Frog Abridged Episode 21, Dororo vomited up a new laptop, and Thorn revived the show that August for a third and final season.
