Trivia / Angry Kid

• Acting for Two: David Holt, who plays the father, also portrayed Angry Kid's teacher in the Who Do You Think You Are? and Darkside specials.
• Descended Creator: Creator Darren Walsh plays Angry Kid.
• Missing Episode: Oddly enough, despite all the episodes being available to view, the official YouTube didn't upload "Marathon Man" and "Road Safety" in their remastered forms like the others. It's highly likely the former didn't get uploaded because of irresponsible firework use and references to bombing attacks, but why the latter is unavailable is unknown.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The original pilot for the series, made in 1995 and was reused for Series 1 episodes "Blood Juice" and "Sneeze", featured a different sounding father and that Angry Kid's original name was Charlie.
  • According to Darren Walsh on this website, he mentions about two characters who were going to appear in later episodes but never made an appearance:
    • There was going to be Angry Kid's unnamed girlfriend, who apparently wasn't really his girlfriend, but AK thinks she is.
    • Mrs Jobling, an old lady, was also going to appear.
• Write Who You Know: Darren Walsh's older brother was an inspiration for Angry Kid and many of the things he did inspired many episode plots.
