• All-Star Cast: Some of his videos, especially his Cup Pong Tournament, feature many well known YouTubers.
• Creator Backlash: In early May 2023, Jacob did a stream reacting to his old playthrough of Pokemon Sapphire from a decade prior to see how far he's come. He's poked fun at his younger self's poor editing, amateurish set up and equipment, and his rather poor sense of humour back then.
• Creator Breakdown: In 2021, Jacob took a break from releasing videos due to mental health struggles. This break had a positive effect on his mental health, leading to a return to videos later that year.
• Creator Recovery: Jacob's break from YouTube in 2021 helped improve his mental health and allowed him to have a happier life. This led to a shift in the format and focus of his new videos, as he decided to focus on making videos that he would enjoy making, as well as following other creative ventures, such as his music career.
• Genre Popularizer: His videos helped made Super Smash Bros. gameplay videos popular.
• He Also Did: Jacob used to be a member of the collaborative Let's Play group channel Friends Without Benefits.
• Lying Creator:
  • Jacob eventually admitted that he actually won his randomizer Nuzlocke despite claiming that he lost because him losing was funnier and made a better ending.
  • Jacob also admitted that every time he shows his subscriber chart having more unsubscribed viewers, he's also lying, and instead uses charts from other Youtubers. His actual subscriber ratio is 5:4 with more subscribers than unsubscribers.
  • In a shiny-only run of Pokémon, Jacob hid from his Twitch chat that he increased the odds of finding a shiny in the game's files to make finding them less boring and time consuming, only to admit the truth the next day.
• Missing Episode:
  • A sponsored video where Jacob and Joe comedically react to a trailer for Watch Dogs: Legion has since been taken off of YouTube for unknown reasons.
  • After many professional Super Smash Bros. players were accused of sexual assault, Jacob removed any of his videos featuring the accused players.
  • In a similar vein to the case above, due to a massive controversy involving the devs of the indie game Heartbeat, the old video reviewing the demo of said game has been removed from the channel.
• On-Set Injury: Jacob had to be taken to the hospital while filming his Wipeout, but not quite as "safe" video due to nearly drowning at the end of the course.
• Parody Assistance: His video about beating Pokemon White 2 with only Level 1 Pokemon includes a segment parodying "Showdown Salt" videos, showing a copy of his run's team beating a team full of Legendary Pokemon, which was made and edited by popular Showdown Salt specialist Temp6t.
