- In reference to a meme that using permitted glitches is “cheating”, a Twitch account, “quote_me_when_andy_cheats”, is named in honor of prominent streamer Andy Laso. It is frequently highlighted in chat when Andy uses a glitch to sequence break.
- It's common for viewers in a Twitch stream to guess the number of the chest which holds the Big Key in Ganon's Tower. This is an Ascended Meme, since the game actually lists the chest in the end credits. It rarely works in Keysanity, since Big Keys are rarely found in their corresponding dungeons; as a result, it's a source of considerable excitement when a player enters Ganon's Tower during a race without having already found its Big Key.
