• Science Marches On: The A.B.C. warriors are named after their ability to withstand Atomic, Bacterial, and Chemical warfare. While Chemical warfare is still an extant term and Bacterial could easily be replaced by the current term Biological, there’s no getting round the fact that Atomic has long been replaced in the current lexicon by the word Nuclear in that context, but the Grandfather Clause means renaming the group the N.B.C. warriors is never going to happen.
