    Before TWAEU
  • The TWA Expanded Universe is created to promote JP's books and he breaks himself into "Inners".
  • The universe expands and genres/worlds emerge (the Ancient Conspiracy is implied to emerge before the Evil Empire).
  • JP's Inner Integrity founds the Knights of Artistic Integrity.
  • The Knights of Artistic Integrity place seals on the Intergate to keep the ads out.
  • The CEO of Megacorp captures JP's Inner Greed, who generates sponsorships and money for Megacorp. They keep him in a vault and refer to him as "Project IG". (Note: it is unclear whether this happened before TWAEU or early in the first season.)

    Season 1
  • JP/Ego outsources his sponsorships to The Dark Lord.
  • The Ancient Conspiracy takes the sponsorship from the Dark Lord with JP's help. After infighting kills most of their members, the Dark Lord attacks the last survivor.
  • The Dark Lord kills JP for betraying him. The Conspiracy Leader arrives and forges a brief deal with him to share the latest sponsor before betraying him.
  • The Chosen One discovers a prophecy that warns of forthcoming doom should the sponsorships continue. He is then attacked by the Dark Lord only for the sponsorship to be stolen by The Empire.
  • Meanwhile, the Ancient Conspiracy Leader tries to steal said sponsorship from the Dark Lord, but a Knight of Artistic Integrity attacks them. The Conspiracy Leader shoots him, and he wanders off.
  • The Conspiracy Leader appears at the imperial capital as a hologram and sends a rogue planetoid to destroy it, killing the Emperor.
  • The Conspiracy Leader takes the sponsorship from the Emperor, but the Evil AI who is working for Megacorp hacks their email and steals it. Soon after, The Visible Hand of the Free Market appears and tries to kill the Conspiracy Leader.
  • The Cthulhu Cult obtain a sponsor, and the Conspiracy Leader confronts them, mistakenly believing that they were the hacker who stole their sponsor.
  • The Dark Lord goes to the Megacorp CEO in order to take his sponsorship. The Megacorp CEO states that no one understands what the sponsorships really are, and that he won't let them know. He then fires the Dark Lord and traps him in a dungeon. He also reveals that he sold the Dark Lord's land.
  • The Cthulhu Cult tell Megacorp of their new sponsorship, and the Megacorp CEO calls for security to take care of them like he did with the Dark Lord. However, the Conspiracy Leader appears instead (in hologram form), ready to take his sponsor.
  • The Megacorp CEO tells them that he destroyed the sponsorship, but then they realise that the Evil AI copied it to help in a plan to kill all humans.
  • The Conspiracy Leader infiltrates the AI's faction while disguised as a robot as they try to trick the Emperor into helping fund their plot to destroy all humans. However, the Emperor realises that their copied sponsorship was originally his and sends his troops over. The Megacorp CEO brings his mercenaries to the AI, soon followed by the Dark Lord (who escaped from the dungeon) and the Cthulhu Cult.
  • The Megacorp CEO comments that they are drawing someone's attention, and is proven right when Knight Commander McStabbypants (the leader of the Knights of Artistic Integrity) arrives. The Knight Commander tells them about the prophecy that was mentioned before by the Chosen One. He says that ads are the root of all evil and will cause the end of the universe, but that they can also grant people unlimited power. This causes the "Sponsorship Wars" to begin as the villains each try to gain unlimited power.

    Season 2

Battle of Nine Hashtags

  • The Evil Emperor, equipped with a sponsor, plans to conquer the other planets and destroy the rebellion but is interrupted when the Knight Commander tweets about the empire selling out while using a hashtag.
  • Worried that the hashtag will start trending, the Emperor fights back (on Twitter) in the first battle of the Sponsorship War.
  • The Knight Commander calls the other knights to help them, but the Emperor in turn gets help from his forces and they outnumber the Knights, winning the battle.

Battle of Low Key Put-Downs

  • The Baron allies with the Emperor and protects the Emperor's sponsorship. However, he is planning to take the sponsor for himself so he can get the “unlimited power" that will allow him to defeat his enemies, House Goodguys.
  • The Knight Commander confronts him and gives him a stern warning, and the Baron promises not to exploit the sponsor, but the Knight Commander realises that the Baron is not trustworthy and gives him a second stern warning. The Baron responds by declaring a battle.
  • The Knight Commander wins (sort of) by insulting the Baron’s minions, causing the minion to break down crying.

Battle of Vague Foreshadowing

  • Soon after, the Knight Commander issues the Baron a third stern warning, sparking the next battle.
  • During this battle, the Knight Commander reveals that if the sponsorships’ power is used, the corruption will twist the universe into darkness, and attempting to control the sponsors will break the seven seals and cause “him” (Greed) to come. The Baron reveals that his plan was to accept a bribe (possibly from the Emperor) and allow the seals to break, destroying worlds and somehow giving him more power. He does not actually know how it will give him power.
  • Neither side wins because the Rebels break in and steal the sponsor with little difficulty due to the minions still being distracted by the Knight Commander’s insults.

Battle of Branding

  • “La Rebel” (the French rebel) suggests they prepare for the empire’s counter-attack, but they get distracted by arguing about what logo and slogan to use, and they begin a battle against themselves.
  • The Tan Rebel tries to warn the other rebels of the imperial army approaching them, but they are still too busy with branding to notice. As a result, the Empire win the battle.

Battle of Budgetary Constraints

  • The imperial troops are about to send a sponsorship to the Emperor and a bomb to their enemy at the federation, but their helmets obscure their vision and they end up sending them to the opposite places.
  • At the federation, the General receives the sponsor and plans to use it to solve their budgetary problems and have a violent fight without the Senate interfering. However, the Megacorp CEO (who he has a bad relationship with due to one of his killbots murdering the federation’s soldiers) calls him and says that the money from the sponsorship won’t help the federation’s crushing debt.
  • At that point, the Knight Commander asks him to stop taking sponsorships, and the General immediately takes the opportunity to fight them. This soon turns into a battle against the bureacrats.
  • Due to a lack of budget (or rather, a budget surplus only for the Congress in the Senate building), the General loses the fight before it even begins. He tries to continue the fight by using his secret weapon (another sponsor), but his mechanical prosthetics malfunction because the IT Department was downsized, and the Knight Commander steals the sponsor.

First Battle of the Fell Hand

  • The Knight Commander returns to their base and meets with Sir Adblock, but they notice a new squire who they call Sir Newguy. This squire is actually the Ancient Conspiracy Leader in disguise.
