The unofficial Scarred Survivors timeline
-150 Years
- Lind's flight, Peregrine, is captured while investigating the disappearance of Kestrel flight. They are interrogated, and tortured at a clandestine Demon base.
-149 Years
- Lind and the rest of Peregrine flight discover the true purpose of the demons' clandestine base: Development and testing of the Rabishu, a biological weapon they would come to call the "Angel Eater". The base is discovered and captured, but not before the flight is exposed to the beast. Peregrine, Kestrel, and 2 other flights are rescued. Rota is missing, at least one Valkyrie from Kestrel Flight is dead, the survivors are in comas.
-100 Years
- Lind wakes up from her coma with no memory of her incarceration. She finds out that somehow, her angel, Spear Mint, has lost one of her wings. The injury leaves her without the ability to experience much in the way of emotions. Because of this, she is assigned to a healer known as "Nebo", a god who specializes in the treatment of angels. Over the next 100 years, he performs experiments with Lind to find ways to regenerate Spear Mint's lost wing, and by extension, her lost emotions. They both hope that a positive result can be applied to the other Valkyries that were affected by the Angel Eater.
-30 Years
- Keiichi Morisato is born.
-29 Years
- Megumi Morisato is born.
-25 Years
- After running afoul of a rich socialite who ruins his reputation, Keima Morisato and his family immigrate to the United States.
-24 Years
- Megumi and Keiichi meet Debra Johanson and become inseparable.
-21 Years
- Aiko Morisato is born.
-14 Years
- Keiichi's good nature garners heaven's attention. His case is won by the Goddess Relief Office, and assigned to the Goddess Belldandy, who begins observing him to ensure that he truly deserves Heaven's Grace.
-12 Years
- (May) Keiichi graduates High School.
- (July) Keiichi enlists in the US Navy and reports to Recruit Training Command (boot camp) in Great Lakes, Il.
- The Goddess Relief Office decides to postpone Keiichi's wish to a time when it would be less disruptive to him and those around him, much to Belldandy's displeasure.
- (August) Aiko is raped. Keiichi is not allowed time off to see her.
- (September) Keiichi graduates boot camp and heads to A school to become a Gunner's Mate.
- (December) Keigo Morisato is born.
-11 Years
- Keiichi progresses through Navy training and his first deployment.
- Graduates A school
- Attends and Graduates C school with specializations in M60, M240, M-4 rifles, among others.
- Assigned to USS Ronald Reagan in the Master-At-Arms corps.
- Earns the rate of Gunner’s Mate Third Class.
- (May) Aiko’s rapist is convicted and sentenced to the maximum of 13 years in prison.
-10 Years
- Keiichi is accepted into the Navy SEALs
- Keiichi's wish comes due, but before she can descend to meet him, Belldandy is interrupted by a call from Toshiyuki Aoshima and descends to offer him a wish, hoping to get back in time to receive Keiichi's call. He uses the wish to effectively bind her to him as a slave.
- Belldandy forbids contact from anyone, even her sisters.
- Keiichi reports to BUD/S training and graduates near the top of his class.
-9 Years
- Keiichi completes Navy SEALs Qualification Training and becomes officially a Special Warfare Operator, Third Class. He is assigned to the newly formed SEAL Team 12.
- Keiichi and Debra, former best friends, officially become a couple.
-7 Years
- Keiichi and Debra are married.
- Keiichi completes all of his training requirements and has his first deployment in Afghanistan.
-5 Years
- While deployed in Afghanistan, Keiichi and his team stumble into a fight between the goddess Urd and a demon. The demon is defeated and sealed in Keiichi's watch, but the Team’s memories of the incident are erased. Keiichi for some reason is resistant, but agrees to cover up the incident.
- While trying to find a way to reach Belldandy, Urd begins to also watch over the team that rescued her. Over the next few years, she appears to the men every couple of months when they are rotated in the US, and forms a close bond with Keiichi. She also appears directly to Keiichi on other occasions.
-4 Years
- The Morisato family gathers in San Francisco to attend the rapist's first parole hearing. They will have to do this again every year. Aiko is still in high school!
-3 Years
- Aiko Morisato graduates High School. She applies for and is accepted to North Carolina State University in the Management of Information Systems program.
- Keiichi starts to experience the symptoms of PTSD, and starts drinking.
-2 Years
- After a particularly violent flashback, Debra files for divorce from Keiichi and moves out. She leaves him their house in Suffolk, Virginia, but takes most of the furniture.
- Keiichi seeks treatment, and is finally diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He is removed from combat duty during his treatment.
-1 Year
- Keiichi is temporarily assigned as an assistant instructor for annual Air Forces' Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (refresher) training. It acts as a temporary duty position until he is deemed fit for combat once again.
-6 Months
- Keiichi is cleared and returned to combat duty.
- Seal Team 12 is deployed to Iraq to participate in covert operations against ISIS.
March, 2016
- Team 12 returns from Iraq.
- Keiichi is recruited by Urd and a reluctant Skuld to rescue Belldandy. In the process:
- They discover that the wish that Belldandy granted to Aoshima was obtained through demonic hacking of Yggdrasil.
- Valkyries Lind, Chrono and Kara come to stop the rescue. Lind takes on Urd, while Chrono and Kara go after Skuld.
- Keiichi sees videos of little girls being raped and tortured by Aoshima and others. He kills one of Aoshima's minions and nearly kills Aoshima.
- Keiichi is attacked with hallucinations induced by the demon Hagall — she has a contract with Aoshima to provide influence and protection in exchange for keeping Belldandy enslaved. He breaks free by concentrating on Monty Python's 'Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life' which leaves Hagall confused and disoriented.
- Keiichi gives Belldandy 'Code 23 09 1988' which grants her access to Yggdrasil and the evidence Urd found about the wish. It also launches a program Skuld wrote to completely expunge the Evil Wish and set her free.
- Urd nearly manages to defeat Lind until she sees the videos, which are still playing, and the shock causes her to mentally shut down.
- Lind gains the upper hand but hears children screaming and crying, finally turns to see the videos and immediately decides to destroy the equipment and help Urd.
- As they leave the room Aoshima crawls out of the wreckage and becomes the focus of Urd's rage. She loses control and her tenth-dimensional form begins to manifest here on Midgard.
- Lind summons a second angel, Cool Mint, who helps her bring Urd back to her senses, then calls off the attack on Skuld.
- Lind tells Keiichi that all the little girls in the videos were Belldandy, forced to take those forms. Urd knew instantly.
- After rescuing Belldandy, Keiichi gives his wish to her; she wishes to stay with him forever.
- Belldandy, Urd and Skuld come to stay at Keiichi's house. Furniture is purchased, including the Ugly Beast, Son Of The Ugly Beast, a dining table and chairs, and beds for the other two bedrooms.
- Urd takes the blame for the majority of actions involved in Belldandy's rescue, to include deaths of mortals that contributed to Bell's suffering, Aoshima's disappearance, and destruction of property caused by Valkyrie fights. Urd downplays Lind/Skuld/Belldandy's involvement. She is banished from Asgard for 3,000 years with no powers, but Lind brokered a deal to let Urd use her powers 'in a time of need' as determined by her probation officer — Lind.
- Aiko comes to Keiichi's house for 3 day Easter weekend. She meets Belldandy, Urd, and Skuld and discovers they are goddesses. She and Belldandy start to talk about the nasty things they've both been through.
- Lind begins to experience emotions she has not felt since the Angel Eater incident.
- Skuld returns to Asgard with Lind.
- While visiting Peregrine flight, who are in stasis crystals and still in comas, Lind recovers her repressed memories of the Angel Eater incident with Cool Mint's help. She subsequently increases the training regime for her current flight, causing her commanding officer to force her to take a month's leave.
- Lind sees Nebo, the Tic angel specialist who's been treating her and Spear Mint for 100 years. He determines that Cool Mint was born as a result of his experimental attempts to regenerate Spear Mint's lost wing. Cool Mint also only has one wing, the one that Spear Mint lost.
- Lind visits home and performs a ceremony to release the spirits of her disgraced brother and the Kestrel Flight Valkyrie whose death she saw in the demons' records.
April 2016
- The Goddess Peorth descends and appears to Keiichi, offering him another wish as his case file in Asgard is not closed.
- Skuld comes back to Keiichi's house.
- Lind returns to Keiichi's house
- Peorth's meddling leads Belldandy to attempt sex with Keiichi, with disastrous results.
- Belldandy's angel, Holy Bell, manifests for the first time in 10 years. She is in a wretched state.
- Skuld's angel, Noble Scarlet, manifests for the first time.
May 2016
- Lind calls the god Nebo, a healer who specializes in angels, to come and treat Holy Bell.
- The cumulative stress of her unacknowledged feelings for Keiichi, bringing Keiichi back from the dead, dealing with Belldandy's and Holy Bell's situations, brewing finicky potions, and having some feathers pulled out causes Urd and World of Elegance to go berserk. Lind and her angels have to remove them from the house.
- Nebo's Ssaratu Luna Spirit manifests as a horrifying monstrosity feared even by the Goddesses.
- Peorth reveals that Keiichi was not owed a second wish, and can't tell them who ordered her to pretend he was, or why.
- Belldandy, Holy Bell, Urd, and World of Elegance start going off into the woods to sing every sunrise and sunset.
- Urd removes a Dreamweaver spider from Keiichi's dreams. Mortals granted wishes are usually exempt from their attention, but Keiichi gave his wish to Belldandy.
- The entire Morisato family gathers in San Francisco to testify at the fifth parole hearing of Stuart Holzkopf, the man who raped Aiko when she was nine years old. Belldandy and Urd accompany Aiko and Keiichi.
- Keiichi's ex-wife Debra meets them at the San Francisco airport, upsetting Urd and Belldandy.
- Belldandy, Holy Bell and Urd sense a demon inside the courtroom where they're holding Stuart's parole hearing.
- Aiko is kidnapped.
