** Lincoln, Massachusetts, the town where Bill lives, is apparently located in Amherst County according to an evacuation sign that Joel and Ellie come across. The real Lincoln, Massachusetts is in Middlesex County, with Amherst being the name of a town 75 miles east of Lincoln. Also, while Lincoln ''is'' relatively close to Boston, it isn't as close as Joel suggests (he says that Lincoln is "a few miles north from [Boston]". In reality, it's 17 miles from Boston, a large distance to travel on foot and it would likely take a couple of days for Joel and Ellie to walk there.)

In reality, it's 17 miles ''17 miles'' from Boston, Boston (and is very much not north, but west of the city; if you were being really generous, you could - at best - say west-northwest), a large distance to travel on foot and it would likely take a couple of days for Joel and Ellie to walk there.)

* BloodierAndGorier: The PS5 remake brings the gore levels on par with ''Part II'', with far more detailed bullet wounds, dynamic bloodstains on the bodies and clothes of the wounded, blood that dynamically pools on the ground beneath a dead body, intestines will hang from bodies that have been bisected by explosions, the grisly details of wounds are rendered ''extremely'' realistically, the list goes on and on.
