• Yoriko becoming a half-ghoul is quite heartbreaking for her. When Touka questioned her on what she has become, she feels broken, believing she's going to report her to the CCG.
  Yoriko: What am I going to do? You know, and now you're going to report me.
  • Her reaction of finding out Touka is a ghoul is heartbreaking as well. Sure it helped her ease her pain, but she remembered the fact that she's been feeding her human food without even realizing that she's hurting her.
• The first time Yoriko gets to eat human meat, a faint sound of sobbing can be heard. As far as she knows, she can no longer eat human food.
