Tear Jerker / Warhammer: Age of Sigmar

• The background story which explains the creation of the Seraphon. Simply put, after the Great Pyramids were transformed into Exodus Engines and departed from the-world-that-was during the End Times, the surviving Lizardmen on board the Exodus Engines were stranded from any source of nutrition as they drifted through the interstellar void for aeons. Eventually, the Skinks died from old age and hunger. And then the Saurus and Kroxigors, who are incapable of dying from old age, succumbed to starvation. When they finally encountered Dracothion and reached Azyr, the Lizardmen, as a mortal species, had become largely extinct with only a handful of Slann and Skink Priests representing the last of their kind.
• The fate of some Stormcast; the Anvils of the Heldenhammer undertake a gruelling campaign through Shyish with Nagash and Neferata at their side, facing a number of threats that the God of Death has arranged or controls himself, with the bargain being that they will assist him in retrieving his struggling or errant Mortarchs, and Nagash will contribute forces to take Archaon's stronghold. He lies; the Anvils die trying to win the day.
• The time when Sigmar had to kill some of the refugees who managed to escape the Chaos onslaught because they were infected with a plague which would have corrupted his realm. Even worse, this broke one of the Chains of Paradox binding Slaanesh into helplessness.
• In a recent issue of White Dwarf, Nagash respawns after his crushing defeat in Broken Realms: Teclis and immediately calls for Arkhan, who was flung from Hysh and expected to be out of action for some time. To make things worse, Neferata privately questions if he was calling for Arkhan having just watched him get banished, or if he didn't remember that Arkhan had been incapacitated at all.
