In General

  • Izuku had lived his whole in fear of being hated by everyone just because his father is the most infamous villain in the world.
  • All Might and Hisashi's relationship. Back to in their high school days, the two of them were friends and rivals. After Hisashi deciding to turn over a new leaf, he was going to tell All Might about All For One. Unfortunately, Endeavor ended up crashing their meeting. Years later, the two men eventually ended as hated enemies, especially when it came to Hisashi's son, Izuku, who would preferred All Might as his father instead.

In Viridescent

  • Izuku's meeting with Endeavor in this story. The man pretty much hates him simply because the boy is the son of the man who handed him his ass sixteen years ago. Endeavor even tells Izuku to drop out of U.A. so the world won't know Izuku is Heat Viper's son. This actually causes Izuku to have a nervous breakdown before his match to Shoto.
  • Izuku's fear of being ostracized ends up coming true after he revealed his powers in the Sports Festival. It's not long that almost all the public turn against him. Even sadder when he gets a letter that tells him to kill himself as an apology for all the crimes his father committed.
  • Himiko bleakly and truthfully concluding redemption isn't in the cards for her — even if she wanted to try, she would be locked up forever in the asylum.
  • Dabi's father horribly abused him so badly that he finds a villain like Hisashi to be a better parent than his own father. And this was after Hisashi beaten Izuku to the point where the boy could have been killed if it wasn't for Best Jeanist.
  • Inko's heartbreaking conversation with Hisashi - both wanting him to stay with her and to go away and never come near her or her son.
  • Hisashi actually started to have second thoughts about becoming a villain when he started to date Inko, ultimately deciding to go fully straight when he learned she was pregnant. So he decided to go and explain his new situation to All Might — only for Endeavour to crash the meeting. It resulted in several hundreds of deaths, Heat Viper imprisoned and Izuku growing up fatherless and ashamed of his own blood.
  • Poor Himiko. After fighting for her life against Overhaul, she finds Izuku, or what's left of him, dead and reduced to charred skin and bones. Sure, she revives him thanks to having Overhaul's quirk, but Himiko came very, very close to losing the one person who's shown her kindness in her life.
    • No one can blame Himiko for how tired she is when the ordeal is finally over.
  • Himiko's past is revealed. Turns out, she actually had a happy childhood with parents who truly loved her. One day, however, it was all ripped away from her. Her father was murdered, her mother had seemingly vanished, and she was kidnapped by someone who was clearly responsible for ruining Himiko's life.
