Tear Jerker / Under the Dog

• First off, Anthea is forced to kill Hana when the latter is too injured to keep fighting. Hana expresses sorrow that Anthea is always assigned the dirty jobs and begs her to protect Nanase. Anthea whispers some words to Hana's ear; we never hear them but at the very least they give some comfort to Hana in her final moments.
  • When Hana gets killed, her family is killed for her failure. Her father is sitting at his desk while working and can only look at a framed picture of his family before he suddenly collapses on his desk, with his co-workers not noticing, or even caring.
  • Meanwhile, Hana's mother suddenly dies in her home, with Hana's little brother unable to help or even understand what's going on. Then, a woman (probably from the agency Hana used to work for) enters the home. Next time we see her, she is on a car holding the poor kid in her arms. He's probably going to be trained as an assassin, the same as his sister.
• After Anthea beats the Pandora, it tries to kill Nanase, but suddenly Nanase grows a Pandora-like arm and kills the thing. Cool, right? Nope, the Pandora is in fact his transformed father. As you can expect, the combined trauma of killing his father and being actually an inhuman beast is enough to break the poor kid. But Wait, There's More! Since Nanase has the same genetic defect as the Pandora, he's not the candidate Anthea's agency has been looking for, forcing Anthea to break her promise to Hana and kill Nanase. By the end of the day, Hana and Nanase died for nothing.
