- Danny telling Lacey and Jo he spent five years in jail for a crime he didn't commit. The expression on his face when he tells them his dad kept insisting Danny take the blame, plus Lacey's and Jo's shell-shocked reactions really make one's heart go out to Danny.
- And then just when it looks like all might be well, Danny still can't bring himself to tell anyone that he saw his dad again and in doing so might have accidentally killed him. So instead of savoring victory, he's in his room, punching the mirror and trying not to cry.
- Lacey giving Danny a "The Reason You Suck" Speech and sadly pointing out that in some ways he always shared more with Jo than with her.
- Tess finding out that the daughter she had put up for adoption died when she was only two years old.
