Part 1
- The Reveal that Varvatos Vex betrayed the Royal family out of anger for his fallen family and let the shields down for General Morando the day of his attack. The King knew this and still forgave him, which led to Vex becoming The Atoner and protecting Aja and Krel with extreme zeal. When the siblings find out, Krel just sounds so hurt and was even willing to kill him in revenge, but Aja decides to exile Vex to Earth for all eternity instead.
- Vex's Heroic Sacrifice when he is stopping the Mothership from leaving. He apologizes to Aja and Krel for all he had done, with the siblings tearfully pleading with him not to die a glorious death. He ends up surviving but is captured soon after.
Part 2
- Even if he is a villain, is hard not to feel sorry for him after that is revealed that Tronos is doing what he is doing becouse he is angry about his planet's destruction, and wants revenge against Aja and Krel's family 'couse they didn't help his kind when they had the chance to. His Redemption Rejection in Season 2 and the fact that Morando ruthlessly kills him for taking too long for bring him the royals' cores do not help. No wonder that the Audience consider Tronos a Jerkass Woobie and feels sorry for him.
- Mother sacrificing herself to repower the vessels to save the King and Queen's core.
- After two seasons of desperately working to keep their cores alive, King Fialkov and Queen Coranda finally emerge from stasis, and in spite of the chaos around them, they know what they must do. Aja and Krel tearfully beg their parents not to throw away the lives they just got back, but the king and queen will not hear otherwise, not when the alternative means that their children will have to make the sacrifice instead. The siblings are able to share one last moment with their parents right before they sacrifice their cores to destroy Morando.
