Tear Jerker / The Sensational She-Hulk

• Issue #4 manages to get a genuine moment of sadness while Breaking the Fourth Wall. Louise Grant Mason tells Jennifer that the reason she aged normally was because she and her husband were not in frequent publication like Jennifer and other superheroes were. When older heroes started returning while having retained their youth, Louise and her husband Mark hoped they would be among them but their opportunity never came. Mark died of old age himself which prompted Louise to get a job as a supporting character in She-Hulk's book to avoid the same fate.
• In issue #36, Jen hears her father talking to Louise about how he still never quite got used to her being the She-Hulk. Hearing those words from him causes her to go to her room and cry.
