Since ''Revenge of the Sith'' ends with Palpatine successfully creating his Galactic Empire, turning Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader and nearly exterminating all of the Jedi Knights, it is very obvious that there will be loads of heart-destroying moments.

On the other hand, Anakin visibly struggles to not decapitate the now powerless Sith Lord as he tries to remain true to the Jedi Code; and when he does, it's notable that he remains shaken from the experience even days after.

* In a very odd way, Grievous' demise. Yes, he [[AssholeVictim absolutely deserved it]] but after two animated series of fighting, slashing and hamming his way into becoming one of Star Wars' most iconic villains, seeing the fierce general devolve into a thrashing, roaring animal before being blown apart feels like a bittersweet goodbye. No matter the canon, Grievous was doomed to die and be forgotten, another tool in Palpatine's long game.
