Book 1
- Steve disappeared after the accident. Nadia was so broken up (especially if you picked the option of reading his "Goodbye letter" to her) while Kai and Hayden are obviously worried about him due to being in an accident earlier.
- Hayden moves to shield you from a taser from a guard in Eros. And then s/he discovered that s/he is an android. Hayden obviously is very shocked and confused when s/he woke up.
- Seeing Sloane having a crisis during the escape from Eros because she is obviously in way over her head as well as Kai can choose to not trust her.
- When the heroes are about to leave the country, Cecile restored Steve's memories and then took him as a hostage to force the heroes to get off their escape plane. Nadia has to be held back by Damien for them to be able to escape.
- In the Interpol safehouse, Hayden contemplates that s/he doesn't feel real. If you decided that you two are better as friends or you want to keep your options open, Hayden just accept your decisions saying that s/he understand after all that happened.
- In a Premium choice, Damien laments about what happened in Beitan when Eros captured and tortured him.
- Seeing Damien's Heroic BSoD when he can only utter "indescribable" at the art museum, revealing that the Damien you are with is a robot by Eros.
Book 2
- Almost every scenes involving Dames, Damien's robot replacement sent by Eros to spy on the heroes, is just one Tearjerker to the next:
- Dames voluntarily agrees to be tied up because he is afraid that he will hurt the heroes under Eros's command, which came true in chapter 3.
- In the first Premium choice with him, Dames recalls his favorite "memories" with you. He carefully chose not to include any of the memories that were uploaded to him by Eros.
- Seeing him constantly furiously deny being Damien after the other characters slip up and call him by that name is just heartbreaking when you remember that must have cause him a lot of anguish due to the fact that being Damien is what he was built by Eros for.
- Learning from Sloane that Dames only has a few months before he begins to shuts down due to his hard drive is filled with Damien's memories and Dames absolutely refuses to let go of those memories because they are all he has.
- Before you leaving to rescue Damien, Dames laments that being Damien is all he has and now that the real Damien is rescued he's going to figure out who he is going to be.
- Seeing Dames desperately trying to fight Cecile's command over him to hurt Kai and failed, validating his worst fear.
- His Heroic Sacrifice at the warehouse so Kai and Damien can escape.
- In a Premium choice, seeing the first Match ever created by Eros heard the revelation that he is a robot by Rowan and Cecile - the two people posed as his "Father" and "Match" who he trust immensely, with such callousness and then being taken away to be decommissioned while he begging for his life.
- Seeing Steve being reprogrammed to fight against you in the Japan warehouse if you didn't pick the Premium choice to save him in Book 1.
- Harley isn't exactly likable, but them finding out that Cecile thinks they're subservient and doesn't actually care for them, as well as them being reset by Cecile count as this. To the onlookers (Keegan and potentially Kai and Hayden), this is when Cecile crosses the Moral Event Horizon.
- Alana believing that she doesn't deserve happiness or love. After Damien, she's never had a serious relationship. If Kai sees her off of the airport in the final chapter, she admits that she thinks Kai is too good for her. Never the less, Kai can admit to her that they're willing to give a relationship with her a chance, which doubles as Heartwarming.
