Molly Moon Stops the World

  • Molly's reaction to finding out that Lucy Logan and Primo Cell are her biological parents. Instead of being ecstatic, she is conflicted and upset. And with good reason. Primo Cell, up to that point, had been a villain who had permanently hypnotised countless people and had planned to take over America (and maybe the world as well). And he'd killed eight people. Molly also believed that Lucy Logan was the mastermind behind the whole evil plot and despised her for everything she'd done. It's a huge relief to her when it's revealed that Lucy's twin brother Cornelius was the evil mastermind and not Lucy herself.
  • Primo's reaction after waking up with his feelings back and realising all the horrible things he'd done to his victims. He is extremely remorseful and horrified. There's also him realising that he'd been hypnotised and controlled for eleven and a half years and that he hadn't lived the life he wanted in that time. Molly narrates that he will probably be a basket case for the next few years while he recovers from everything he went through.
  • It's revealed at the end of the book that Cornelius Logan hypnotised Roger into madness because he saw something that he shouldn't have. Poor Roger spent months trapped in his own head, scared and alone, having to endure the hallucinations and madness Cornelius hypnotised him into having. Once Molly finally realises what's been going on with him and breaks the hypnosis, Roger hugs her and cries while he thanks her for saving him. Molly realises that Roger will also be a mess for a while and gets Forest to help him recover from the trauma of his hypnotization.

Molly Moon's Hypnotic Time Travel Adventure

  • Lucy's depression. The poor lady was robbed of both her babies and the life she'd been hoping to have when Cornelius hypnotised her. It's no wonder she has a breakdown once she's woken up.
  • Molly's assumption that Lucy is so sad because she's disappointed in Molly as a daughter. It couldn't be further from the real truth.
