Making the Band 2: Da Band

Season 1

• Mysterious' sister was killed sometime during filming. If that wasn't bad enough, her body was found chopped up in different garbage bags. And then comes the final episode, where Mysterious doesn't make the cut. The poor girl had an bad run throughout the series.
  • And then there's Mysterious' breakdown in the finale, where she angrily shouts at and curses Diddy for cutting her at the last minute.
    "All of that.. for nothing? For NOTHING?!"
• Jamirah finds out she's pregnant, ruining her chances of making the cut.
• The looks on everybody's faces when they don't make it into the band.

Season 2

• It's a funny situation, but Babs crying when told to go on a long walk to fetch cheesecake for Diddy could qualify as the circumstances are quite humiliating after all she and her band members have done to get to this point.
• Doubles as a heartwarming moment: Da Band gets sent to a homeless shelter for another team-building exercise. They actually have a good time and serve up plenty of smiles. Ness mentions that he understands what it's like to be homeless from personal experience, and Sara gets overwhelmed with emotion, breaking down in tears.
  Diddy: A lot of the times, we look at a roof over our heads, take it for granted, food on our table, take it for granted; nothing is guaranteed in this life. Gotta thank God everyday for the blessings that you got.
• Sara breaking down and crying to her husband from the constant stress at the house.
  • Really, any moment where the band mistreats Sara for no good reason counts. She's often ignored and singled out for being the sole singer and yelled at for having the nerve to speak out against her band member's irresponsible habits.

Season 3

• We find out that Babs had a boyfriend prior to the beginning of the series who died. We learn this on the episode in which her and Chopper flirt a little bit, but it doesn't get anywhere. It's all but stated this is the reason why.
• Dylan's legal troubles. While he is undoubtedly very lazy and was abusing his issues to skip doing work, he admits that he's afraid of going to jail and being a failure to those he cares about.
• The finale, in which Dylan is kicked out of the house and Fred just ditches the group completely. Diddy gets so fed up that he dismantles Da Band. He keeps Ness and Babs for Bad Boy's Northern branch, hoping to make them "Hip-Hop's Bonnie and Clyde", and keeps Chopper for the Southern branch, but this doesn't last long at all. Sara is just sent home. It may have been inevitable at that point, but it still hurts to see.
