There is an episode ("Boss'stache") that delves into the past of one of the villains. He grew up different from his brothers for not having a moustache as a kid, while his brothers and father did. He was so heartbroken by the situation he used science to grow one. They immediately loved and accepted him after seeing his moustache... which got shaved accidentally after a mishap with Lamput. He is then driven to tears, sobbing over his moustache.
