* On "Pierrot le Fou" on Youtube almost ''every'' single comment lampshades the trope: they're all about how [[AlasPoorVillain horribly sad the ending was]] and how NO viewer could stop the tears when Pierrot, in his VillainousBreakdown, screams and cries like a little kid after Spike throws a knife at his leg. Not helping the scene is the amusement park setting the duel went down in, where the parade going around Pierrot evokes the mental image of a lost kid crying for his mom in a crowd of strangers. And no, it doesn't get better; he's unceremoniously crushed by one of the parade floats, and even Spike seems upset over it. His last words in the episode? "I hate amusement parks."

Added DiffLines:

** Right before their MutualKill, Spike tells Vicious that Julia is dead. Vicious doesn't reply and remains stern-faced. One wonder what Vicious is really feeling at that moment?

* In "The Real Folk Blues, Part I", despite have no home to go back to, she prefers to wander around than go back to the Bebop.

** A special mention has to go to the scene where an old lady, who was a classmate, remembers Faye and is mystified by her [[OlderThanTheyLook young looks. She attempts to engage her in conversation, but Faye simply says she's a ghost and runs off. Seeing what Faye should have been and what lives she missed out on (and the people that missed her) was just brutal.]]
