Tear Jerker / Arise: A Simple Story

• One of the stages is heartwarming, being about the man's wife becoming pregnant and the two of them moving towards welcoming the child into the world. You get to the end of the level, and the giant flower that's been growing in the centre representing the child suddenly falls dark and dies, with the man desperate grasping at the glowing pod in the flower before falling into darkness. The next stage opens up by revealing the baby was either a stillbirth or died not long after being born, and the man is crying at having to revisit this.
• The final stage shows the wife dying, and the old man revisiting the memories of the two of them. It's extremely bittersweet, knowing they'd lived this full life together but it's time for both of them to move on.
