• In the 2011 Remembrance Sunday special, one of the last mementos shown was the last letter of a soldier killed in action, addressed to his wife who was pregnant at the time. It was read by one of his relatives, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house...
• Anytime someone finds out their item isn't worth as much as they thought regardless of why this turns out to be the case (and sometimes when it's worth more, especially if there's a heartfelt story behind it).
