Tear Jerker / Akumaizer 3

• #2: Xavitan discovers his mother Chiyo Shirasagi is still alive, but Mezalord is holding her captive. He attempts to use her to force Xavitan to surrender but Chiyo instead encourages her son to keep fighting no matter what, leading Mezalord to kill her out of spite and make her reunion with her son only a brief one.
• #4: Evil is framed as a traitor by Akanida and Aonida, leading Xavitan and Gabra to reluctantly exile him from the 3. Even when he's no longer with them however, he rejects Akanida's offer to join him and stays loyal to his friends.
• #5: Xavitan finds himself forced to go up against his childhood friend Siren. After Xavitan gets captured, Mezalord attempts to force Siren to kill him but Siren finds he cannot bring himself to do it, leading Mezalord to execute him instead.
• #10: It turns out Majoruka is Darunia's sister, and the reason she's still serving the Akuma Clan is because Mezalord planted "Twin Demon Circuits" in her and her sister's heads that would kill the other sister if either of them did anything to defy him. The episode ends with Majoruka allowing Xavitan to kill her, so Darunia can be free of Mezalord's influence.
• #18: The Demon Captain of the Week is Evil's lover Diana. Xavitan and Gabra are able to persuade her to defect, but right before she can reunite with Evil she gets gunned down by Mezalord. Mezalord You Monster!
• #21: Gabra's childhood friend Yuki Onna is the Monster of the Week this time. Unlike other previous former friends of the Akumaizer 3, she doesn't turn good and the Akumaizer 3 are forced to kill her, with the episode ending with Gabra weeping over his friend's demise.
• #37: While the episode is for the most part uplifting, and features Mezalord's final defeat, this one line from Xavitan sums up how many friends and family the Akumaizer 3 have lost.
  Xavitan: Mezalord! You have killed countless good people! You killed Evil's girlfriend, Gabura's friend, Darunia's sister, and my kind mother! I won't forgive you!
• #38 has quite the Sudden Downer Ending. Here goes...
  • The Akumaizer 3 discover they can't defeat Geberu (who is now equipped with the Immortal Shield and virtually invincible) unless they use the "Akumaizer Attack", which will cost them their lives. Not wanting the Akumaizer 3 to die, Bascal, Noppelar and Namename of the Demon Peace Party try to perform the attack themselves, but aren't strong enough to pull it off just right and die instead.
  • This in turn leads the Akumaizer 3, filled with resolve over the death of their friends, to perform the attack on Geberu themselves, killing Geberu but having their bodies destroyed and souls sealed in capsules.
  • The final shot of the episode is a tearful Darunia being joined by Ippei, Mitsuhiko and the now fatherless Noppelar Jr., as all four of them watch the capsules float away.
