- Before the epilogue, the novel describes a scene of Zetsu and Tobi conversing. All but Zetsu, Kisame and Itachi believe him to be Madara Uchiha, and reflecting this, Zetsu calls him by his true name, Obito. Tobi's final line is, "Please keep waiting, Rin..."
