Cloudrunner: Fate of the Skies is a Steampunk fantasy Tabletop RPG that takes place in Escadus, a world in the sky. The game uses the Fate: Condensed rules, and cites Skies of Arcadia, Guns of Icarus, and The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello as influences.

In Cloudrunner, people live on sky islands. Players take on the role of explorers in search of sky ruins from the lost civilization of Dead Heaven.

Cloudrunner contains examples of:

  • Cool Airship: The airship is so ubiquitous that you'll always find something cool in your travels.
  • Improbable Aiming Skills: Lottie Wrayburn is notorious for her impeccable aim.
  • The Mafia: The Wrayburn family, residing at the centre of all organized crime in Escadus.
  • Precursors: The lost civilization of Dead Heaven is given as an example of one to expect in the setting, with little else to go on outside of mechanical juggernauts known as "Celestials".
  • World in the Sky: The world of Escadus, which mostly consists of what's referred to as the "Endless Blue" in between locations.
