Due to the particular nature of the mods, there are near constant references to other media, including, but obviously not being limited to:

• According to flavour text, Poppup and Maus once appeared in a rap song about Yu-Gi-Oh.
• At one pointy, Ace asks the player if he played Uncharted 3.
• Berdly claims that Jacob Carter is his mom.
• Blackjack, when talked to, recounts the tale of one of his friends, named Kevin, who thought he had sex with Barney the Dinosaur while drunk.
• During the Snowgrave route of AIRune, just before the fight with him, Berdly rather excitedly announces that CBS just renewed the The Big Bang Theory.
• Flowey makes one to 13 Reasons Why before the fight with El Bailador:
  Flowey: This will be my 12th reason why!
• If one inspects the desk in Alphys's Lab, they will find nuclear codes... which the narrator will helpfully (and in a rather confused fashion) point out they seem to be from a Dora the Explorer episode.
• Checking the "Free Lunch" item will prompt the following quote:
  It's not free because of taxes!
• One of the NPCs in the Wild East seems to be a huge fan of Rick and Morty:
  Fake Horse: Rick and Morty fans REJOICE!
  Fake Horse: The show's creators are teaming up with Kellogg's!
• One of the save points in AIRune is named Cyberpunk 2020.
• Successfully defusing all the bombs will prompt Mettaton to congratulate you with the following message:
  Mettaton: WELL DONE, FREDDY FAZBEAR!
• Spamton NEO makes a very particular threat during his bossfight:
  Spamton NEO: THERE WILL BE NO MORE [ Scott The Woz! ]
• When talking to Sans near the start of the Waterfall area, he'll tell you not to worry... because Marvel is better than DC.
• The very final weapon the player obtains in the Genocide route of AITale is Tony Stark.
• In HOUR 1, the Feisty Five sing the iCarly theme song in their first appearance.
• Ralsei claims that Half-Life 3 made him get into a polyamorous relationship.
• Lancer makes a very confused one during his first appearance in AIRune:
  Lancer: Ho ho ho!
  Lancer: The heroes are Waterbending masters...
  Lancer: Just like in Among Us!
