The Kangks Show is a Philippine sex comedy series starring Angelica Panganiban, Maris Racal, JC De Vera, Kit Thompson, Nonie Buencamino, Angeli Agbayani, Awra Briguela, and Rachel Coates with Nour Houshmand. It follows Dr. Kara Teo (Panganiban), a sex therapist who's hosting the 15th season of The Kangks Show, a sex advice show. Its ratings are plummeting, and the millennial Kara finds out that her greatest threat is Cassandra (Racal), a young influencer who runs her own sex advice show on TikTok.

A WeTV original, The Kangks Show premiered on December 17, 2021. It's available for free on WeTV, with English subtitles. New episodes drop every Friday. The Kangks Show was created by the esteemed satirical writer Antoinette Jadaone.

"Kangks" is a shortened form of "kantot," which is crude Tagalog slang for "have sex."

The Kangks Show features the following tropes:

  • Boob-Based Gag: Kara is noticeably well-endowed. Cassandra and her best friend wiggle to mock the movement of her breasts as she talks whenever they make fun of her.
  • Book Dumb: Cassandra is a college dropout who doesn't even know what the powerhouse of the cell is (the mitochondria, of course). She says that she's smart, even if she's not book-smart. Nonetheless, most people taunt her for her lack of a formal education.
  • Brainless Beauty: Cassandra is regarded as such by most people, even her own best friend. However, she says she's smart despite being Book Dumb. Her intelligence seems to be more of the social kind.
  • Fanservice: It's a sex-oriented show topbilled by Angelica Panganiban, Maris Racal, and Kit Thompson, so of course.
  • The Generation Gap: A central theme. The millennial Kara finds herself both threatened and baffled by Cassandra, who is very distinctly Gen Z.
  • Punny Name: Kara Teo is meant to sound like "karat," Tagalog slang for having sex. Cassandra's best friend downright calls her "Doc Karat" sometimes.
  • Sex with the Ex: This is the focal point of Episode 3. The letter sender can't stop having sex with her ex-boyfriend. Kara has also been sleeping with her ex Gary again.
  • Show Within a Show: Each episode shows an in-universe episode of The Kangks Show.
  • Title Drop: The Kangks Show is also the name of Kara's sex advice show, so naturally it's mentioned every episode.
