The Teletubbies Knockoff.
Telechobis (also known as Los Telechobis) is a Mexican children's series that aired from 1998 to 1999 on TV Azteca. The series is infamous for being a knockoff of Teletubbies.
This show provides examples of:
- A Dog Named "Dog": A tree named "Arbol"
- Expy: The main characters are obviously based on the Teletubbies.
- Arbol averts this trope, as he isn't based on any character from Teletubbies
- Gender-Equal Ensemble: Two boys (Ton and Toso) and two girls (Nita and Tis).
- Lady in Red: Tis
- Red/Green Contrast: Nita and Tis
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Tis and Ton
- Short-Runner: Lasted a very short amount of time on TV Azteca. After being sued by The BBC, this show was cancelled.
