State of the Union is a BBC Dramedy series by Nick Hornby.
The show is about a married couple, Tom and Louise, who are experiencing some difficulties in their relationship; specifically, it follows their woes — as revealed when they meet in a pub just before their weekly marital therapy session.
It stars Chris O'Dowd as Tom, and Rosamund Pike as Louise.
The first series was aired in 2019, the second in 2022.
This show provides examples of:
